CLOSE guidance

You don’t have a typical brain —
why would you want typical prep?

You have strengths that school hasn’t tapped. Because ADHD isn’t just a deficit — it’s a toolbox.

We with ADHD are curious, creative, and filled with energy — but traditional test-prep ignores that.

Don’t fight against your ADHD: use it.

“Oh joy, a standardized test.”

— No one ever

We can feel like round pegs being jackhammered into square holes.

Who am I?

I’m Brandon. My students have ADHD.
My kids have ADHD. I have ADHD! And when I was in high school, I used my ADHD to get a 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT.

For 14 years, I’ve helped students create their own ADHD-based ways to punch the SAT and ACT in their ugly faces — and to do things that really matter.

Gosh, I love what I do.

Can test prep make school easier?

Besides being a tutor, I’m also a classroom teacher — and I help design schools. So — I don’t just care about the test.

The stuff I teach can (radically) change the way you attack your classes, in high school and college.

I can help you learn to cut through complex sentences.
I can help you learn how algebra really works.
I can even help you learn how to learn faster and deeper.

Overheard in lessons

“Wait, my ACT score just went up 7 points?”

— Ben K.

“The strategies you are sharing with him make sense like nothing I've ever seen before — thank you!”

— Stephanie P.

“I mean, I don’t want to say I’m excited, but I’m almost… excited? to try out these new strategies, because they, I don’t know, give me hope?”

— Libby F.

“I have never seen my son so excited about anything academic in his life.”

— Diane K.
